The Canadian Association of Harness Dog Sports has found many differences between provinces, clubs and event organizers regarding participation rules across Canada.  In order to provide some guidance in advance of our 2019 Championship races, CAHDS has taken what we hope is the best of each region and club's rule book to create the below rules.

In order to create this set of combined rules, CAHDS has engaged in lengthy discussion with regional representatives, organizers, and competitors across the country and reviewed rules documents nation-wide. We very much appreciate the input of those who have taken the time to assist us and lend their expertise in this endeavor - without you this document would not have made it this far.  Thank you.
