CAHDS OFFICIALS
TRAINING PROGRAM
Our nation-wide officials program ensures race marshals and officials in Canada are fully versed in the rules and regulations in each Canadian province or territory in which they choose to officiate. We strongly encourage officials to complete all Canadian modules in order to broaden their horizons and allow them the opportunity to officiate at regional events across Canada, as well as at national level competitions!
Certification
As a certified official, your name and contact information will be maintained on CAHDS' list of certified officials which is accessible to Regional Organizations and their Event Organizers. There are various levels of certification available through CAHDS:
-
National Level Certification (dryland)
-
National Level Certification (snow)
-
Regional Certification (dryland)
-
Regional Certification (snow)
Regional Events
Regional events are listed on each Regional Organization's website. You must have completed that region's module in order to be certified to act as an official at Regional events.
National Championship Events
CAHDS officials who have completed both the National Level Certification and the Regional Module for the host region may have the opportunity to officiate at Canadian National Championship events.
